Since I last posted, my children have come and spent Thanksgiving weekend with me.

It was an adventure for them coming to Platinum, but especially going home. Their Alaska Air flight, into Bethel, was late, so they missed the 1:00 pm flight to Platinum. I put money into Cody's account so they could go upstairs and get something to eat. I expected them to be on the 4:00 pm flight, which gets to PTU around 5 pm. Sure enough, I look out the school's kitchen window (I was cooking the school's Thanksgiving feast.) and there are my children walking down the road--some what confused/lost. They went to my house got settled in and then came and joined the community feast.
Thanksgiving day I cooked another turkey and stuffing. We had a green salad and corn on the cob with our dinner. I made a pumpkin roll cake for dessert. Devin (secondary) and Autumn (elementary) came and had dinner with us. Afterwards we played the game "Things" and then watched "Spirited Away". A very nice day!
