I guess I partied to much over the break and ate too many items that were loaded with salt. Last night I experienced another vertigo episode. It was very sever and had me in a cold sweat for a couple of hours, a headache that I still have, and of course the vomiting. I managed to get undressed and into bed, after I was only experiencing the dry heaves. It took a couple of hours and a short nap to begin to feel like I could move. After the nap, I was awake for another few hours and then finally fell back to sleep.
Today, I slept in--my head is still out of sorts. I got to work, but have a headache and am not tracking very well. At 10:30, I went home and laid down. I fell asleep immediately, which is a sign that an attack was imminent, and woke up at 1:30.
I need to drink as much water as possible and eliminate all salt from my diet. I've decided to roast the Thanksgiving bones to create a stock and eat soup for the rest of the week. I've got a week and a half to recover from this before I fly back to ANC for my conference.
Tonight, while a roast turkey bones and make stock, I will have a salad. Then to bed early to get a good nights rest.
